Truck Pull:
1st Annual Truck Pull. Sled pulling is a competition
between trucks and owners, to find out who can pull the sled the furthest. As the sled gets pulled down
the track, a weight slides up and presses down on a skid, making the sled harder
to pull.
Eventually the sled overpowers the trucks ability to pull and stops.
Whoever pulls the furthest wins. |

A popular family night in the park, Friday's SummerFest activities kick starts our weekend
in high gear with our annual BBQ, where old fashioned, grilled bbq sandwiches fill the air and a colorful assortment of beans, jello and desserts line
the tables inside the park. Home-made rootbeer is also a popular feature that goes great with the
combination of delights that will sure to please any food connoisseur .
As the evening
progresses make sure that you bring your chair
and extra blanket with you because the festivities
are still going strong with added features
such as a the 1st Annual Truck Pull, live
band and talent show. This is always the fun
part of the day because you're among friends and
family and the sounds of laughter and song
fill the evening sky.
And what
would a festival be without fireworks? This 2nd annual event took many by surprise last year and it's still
the talk of the town a year later! The fireworks were so close you could touch them and this year is no exception.
Come and bring your friends and family and help make this years Summerfest 2008 even better. We look forward to seeing you!
