  RUN ROYALE (3K and 1K mile) FOR CHARITY:
Moderate difficulty through farm land and rural area starting at Royal City Lions Park at 7am for adult 5k run/walk and 8am for youth fun run.   TREASURE'S FROM THE SKY:
Children under 12 scamble for a ping pong ball. Everybody wins. Bring to the SummerFest information booth to pick up your prize. Grand prize is a bicycle. Watch the ping pong balls rain from the sky…..but remember one ball per child. Parents help your children learn to share. Refer to event schedule for drop times.
 
   
 

Kick off this day with a hearty breakfast, "Run Royal for Charity" and take in the parades with your children and loved ones for the ultimate event lasting all day with games, food, music and lots of unique activities.

This event was previously known as "Community Days," a family event planned and presented by and for the residents of Royal City. It is such a fun weekend that many plan their own gathering around it. Just a few highlights include: Kids and Grand parade, Royal City Amazing Race, Entertainment & Games, Food and Crafts, Sporting Competitions, Ping Pong Drop from an Airplane, Karaoke Contests, Vendors and Product Give-A-Ways, Car Show w/ Racing, Royal City Fun Run and much, much more!

We also welcome other communities to participate in this event and showcase your ideas, crafts and community spirit.

 
NEW | GYMKHANA
We are introducing this new event on Sunday. This horse event includes timed speed events such as barrel racing, keyhole race, keg race (also known as "down and back"), flag race, and pole bending. All of these events are designed to display precise, controlled actions and tight teamwork between horse and rider at speed allowing riders to compete at the speed level they are most capable of and comfortable with.
 
  VENDORS/GAMES/FOOD: Tour around the park and visit with vendors, game operators and food booths that provide a days worth of enjoyment. Download here to add your booth, game or food booth to this years festivities.
